NHA TRANG
Saturday we took a Boat trip to 4 Islands off Nha Trang, with about 30 other people. The guys running the trip were a really good laugh and very entertaining. They even made up a four peice band (the drummer was using an upturned washing up bowl as a drum!), and got us up dancing. We stopped at one of the islands for about an hr and Hay had a go at Paragliding! We met 2 couples from Auz on the boat and spent the evening with them after docking and freshening up.
Sunday we had a well needed lie in (due to the beverages consummed the night before) and checked out of the hotel, leaving our bags there as we were being collected at 6.15pm for the overnight coach to Hoi An. We decided to go pamper ourselves at the local Mud Bath. We caught a taxi there and it costs us $4 entry fee to the 'Public Bath'. We actually had a tub to ourselves and wallowed in the mud for about 15minutes, before heading up to sunbathe until the mud dried, and then went down for the 'jet wash' (horizontal blasts of hot water),

Dinner is served! and finally the hot mineral bath. This we actually found too hot, so stayed for 10mins and then headed over to relax by the pool for half an hour before our taxi collected us and took us back the hotel. What a fab way to get over a hangover!
HOI AN
Then the coach picked us up about 6.30pm and took us to Hoi An. We arrived at 7am Monday morning! Needless to say it was not the best night's sleep I've had! H (as usual) managed to get a few hours kip, but we both just crashed out as soon as we checked into our hotel! We woke up about lunch time and went for a wander around and had some lunch at a restaurant overlooking the river.
Next day we spent wandering round tailor's and shoe makers. We had quite a bit made in one particular tailors, and both designed ourselves some new footwear! We won't go into detail, but we are not going to pursue a carrier in footwear design! We spent the day after going round collecting what we'd had made/ trying on and posting it all home!

Up, up and away! journey from Hue to Hoi An was a really picturesque one. Mountains, waterfalls, rice paddies...but to our disapointment we arrived to a scene that could have been Portsmouth! It was grey, dreary and raining! so we went out and purchased ourselves rather fetching rainmacks (see pic).
The next afternoon we went on a tour to the Citadel and pagoda, and an hour Perfume River Cruise. We bumped into Martin, an Auzzie guy we met on a tour round the Palace in Hanoi, we also bumped into him in Hoi An too! Lol!
