Bullet trains....Bullet trains....Bullet trains....

Up to 300km/h commertial speed but most average around 275, they can go faster than 300 though.
I made a late start to my journey to Sapporo and by doing this found that I had run out of time and couldn’t make it the whole way. I stopped off at Sendai for a few pictures, then caught the next Shincansen train to Morioka, I had a quick look around the main town then headed off to Aomori. I didn’t feel like hanging around there so hopping off the train was a bad idea. I caught the very next train which left me with no other choice but to change trains at Kanita for the Tsugaru Line, I had to wait over an hour for the last train to Hakodate! During my wait I managed to book some accommodation at Hakodate so all was good. Tomorrow I plan on catching a train around 8:30am to Sapporo to do my shopping for snowboarding gear! Then I have to back track to Niseko in search of powder land

The service was very friendly even with the language barrier! the toilet was the fanciest I had seen yet with seperate settings for male and female, how funny! My room was more traditional than all of my other accommodation sites and the most comfortable, Then in the middle of the night it snowed and snowed! :-)
