Hi all
Tour has started. Leader and group are good. First day in Delhi we went to a spice market in Old Delhi. It looked like it must have 1000yrs ago. Huge sacks of chillis, cardamon, salt crystals, curry powders it was amazing.
Caught the train to Agra - saw the red fort and palace - very good and the Taj Mahal which exceeded my expectations (which is hard to do), No photo Ive ever seen does it justice, it is absolutely beautiful. Stared at it for a long time.
We are now in Gwalior seeing another fort - older but not as impressive. CRAZY driving here - a few small accidents in our fleet of tuk tuks already (one even hit a cow).
Off to a small town called Orchha tomorrow - things will be quieter there.
We have figured out how to put photos into the blog - have a look at the old entries for them (look at the full entry to get all the photos)
