Reply to this Hi, what do you mean by specialty? It's known for tea and cool temperatures in the hills. We spent a little time there in January and found it difficult for the independent traveller. Tour groups and tour operators dominate the market and the jungles, walks and other places around are very poorly signposted. If you are coming up from KL, the drive is winding but scenic. If you're coming from Ipoh, it's a view filled with plastic covered farms.
