Turning your photography and travel experiences into a world of difference.
What are the most exciting and precious souvenirs from a trip?... the photos of course! Photography is insiring, memorable and captures the essence of the trip- whether it's action-packed, cultural, tranquil or educational. But have you ever found that no matter how good the photos, you're still left wanting to travel more?! Well, one way you can make your photos work for you, is by entering them into a photo contest, like Friends of World Heritage. Friends of World Heritage is a grassroots campaign that works to promote and preserve World Heritage sites through sustainable tourism- which is a GREAT and important cause as a traveler. Friends of World Heritage is sponsoring a photo contest with an absolutely amazing grand prize for a 10-day, all expenses paid trip for two to Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, home to five World Heritage sites. Send Friends of World Heritage (www.friendsofworldheritage.org) your best shot from a World Heritage site and write a brief personal statement describing your experience to enter.
And p.s.- the contest is designed with the amateur in mind.
From the Statue of Liberty to the Galapagos Islands to the Pyramids of Egypt, World Heritage sites are sources of life and inspiration. Friends of World Heritage is a grassroots initiative working to promote and preserve the 830 natural and cultural wonders designated as World Heritage sites for future generations to enjoy. Check to see if you’ve already been to one of the 830 sites worldwide and enter today!
