Wanted to share a great travel deal, good for all participating Pennsylvania lodging and attractions, all January long:

January is “Cabin Fever Month” in Pennsylvania. Back by popular demand for the third consecutive year, when you book a room at participating hotels, motels, inns, and bed & breakfasts (all listed on VisitPA.com), you get the second night FREE. And you also get 50%!o(MISSING)ff admission to any attraction participating in Cabin Fever, which includes ski resorts, museums, theaters, zoos, wineries, and more. (nim, if posting live to a local forum, please add a few specific participant examples, like the Pittsburgh example-thanks!)

And new in 2007 - for those who like the great outdoors, state park cabins in every region of the state are also participating in this “buy one night, get the next night free” promotion.

While January travel is typically low (less crowds!) in the “State of Independence,” this campaign seeks to cure the cold winter blues with red-hot travel deals. Hundreds of Pennsylvania properties participate, from large chain hotels to independently-owned inns, quaint B&B’s, and rustic cabins. And there is no limit on the number of buy-one, get-one getaways you can build for any time in January at: www.visitpa.com/visitpa/cabinfever.pa.

For more info, check this out. But don’t forget this once-a-year opportunity ends January 31st.

Have been to pa many times and it's a beautiful state...for those who like breathing fresh air, mountains and the outdoors this is the place to be. POKONOS is very nice to visit... Advantage of going to PA is that NY, NJERSEY, BALTIMORE is not that far away depending of where you are in PA. Ps. HERSHEY'S chocolate factory is in PA. Visit www.voyagesglobalnet.com for cheap flights. Reply to this
