Anyone want to join me on a Trek/Raft expedition I am planning in Uttarkhand in Oct 22-29 ?
I'm planning a trek and raft expedition in the Indian Himalayas from 22-29 Oct, 2011. Includes rafting on the exhilarating Bhagirathi river and the upper Ganga gorge and a moderate trek to Chopta (4000 mtrs). Itinerary includes camping at Devaritayal lake, jaunts through alpine meadows and rhododendron forests, visiting the highest temple in the world and Tungnath, catching the panoramic sunrise at Chandrashilla and spending Diwali day in the ancient and conluence town of Devprayag - where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers join to form the mighty Ganga.

Reply to this Actually....I also was planning to go to McleodGanj and Bir areas to do the world famous Paragliding there.....its pretty well known for that stuff and every year the world body conducts the paragliding pre-world cup competition there.....
