My blog has more details...its as cheap as backpackers get in Nyali, great facilities and location and attracts a lot of volunteers finishing off their Kenyan experience or people who have been travelling for months and months and just ready to have comfort, laze, cook their own food, chill with a beer at a better standard of the usual hostel - plus there's not a lot of beds available so its more exclusive, relaxing and private - sleeps up to 12/13 people max. New travellers can ask for extensive knowledge of Kenya from a previous Africa backpacker... Huge rooftop for BBQ's, few mins from the famous beach which has a surfers/watersports centre and secured beach bars...very safe place to be 😊 lots of in-house services and the hippy vibe adds New Age interests where you're offered readings & healing sessions and some Mind, Body & Spirit books.
If that's not your thing, at least you've got a 'home away from home' in traditional African furnishings, Masai décor, DVD, WII games, resident monkeys, a 3mth old guard-puppy called Diego with a host who knows the country inside out as a British female-lone-traveller years ago and now lived here for many years!
