As one that never traveled in China and is used to travel in Europe and North America, can you please advise me how to do a trip like yours, regarding: transportation,boarding (where to sleep),food,how to handle money (cash/CC), what is the best season ,personal security, coasts- any detail will help.

i use canon 350d reflex digital
winter is adviced against since in the north the temperatures are much rigid while in summer, the south, the climate is warm and annoying much for the great humidity. However also in spring jacket to wind is advisable to carry one or a light raincoat.
