Looking for any recommended tours for 2-3 nights in the White Desert....
N Posts: 2
Hello,
I'm looking for any help and/or recommendations for tours out to the White and Black Desert. I'd also love to go to the hot springs and camp with the Bedouins. I've heard of really great experiences with trips out to the White Desert and having small parties under the stars listening to traditional music. Any suggestions? Thank you!!! Reply to this

Highly higly highly recommend these guys: http://www.whitedeserttours.com/ . The owner is a german guy called Peter who is a bit of an eccentric and has lived out there for over 10 years (but he really knows his stuff). We did the trip with a group of 6 and they can provide everything from the guide to the 4x4's, camping equipment, food, everything...
If you get the chance, try and extend your stay to 5 days or so, leave the white desert after a couple of nights and head south west (avoid Farafra Oasis - nothing to see there) to the town of Kasr in the Dakhla Oasis - it is amazing there but the eco lodges are a little on the pricey side. It is unbelivable though, theres a whole mudbrick town which is perfectly preserved there.
If you don't have the time, and are setting off from Cairo here's some info on what you can expect when you get there: http://www.cairo360.com/article/275/bahareya-oasis-a-4x4-excursion-into-the-black-and-white-desert/
Hope this helps! :)
