Beautiful, untapped and not for the Club-Med set: albania.curtprins.com/ - x[posted anonymously]x

After a wager with a friend in Warsaw, I trekked into a country that guidebooks didn't cover and most Americans only knew about through a song from a "Cheers" episode.

This weeklong visit opened my eyes to a developing country with remnants of Roman and Greek culture...and untouched by German and Aussie travelers.

Fully Agree
What is it with those german and aussie travelers? (lol) Anyway Albania is a bit of an escape for Italians as they have some ongoing trade between them. Also I posted recently about another close by Country being Armenia. Same there. Albania, Armenia, Montenegro, Macedonia, all are realitivly unknown. There long time association with Russia and China during the Soviet days kept them out of Western eyes. That has changed and all remain pure to the overall tourism onslaughts found most everywhere these days. Good days ahead for all these countries but gee about those germans and aussies.
