i've just reviewed the opentravel.com photo contest rules, something i always do when i consider submitting entries to any photo contest.

basically, if you submit an image to this contest, whether you win or not, the organisation and its affiliates (not listed) can use that image with or without your permission and with out telling you. your are, in effect, handing over the image rights to the organisation for them to use as they want. unfortunately, this isn't so unusual with photo contests. what i do find unusual is that i can not find out any information relating to who runs the website. check out the 'about us' page and you'll find its pretty vague.
