Please Help Identify Location Based on Photographs

I need some help identifying a location. I have a few pictures from which I picked out the most distinctive ones.

I would like to at least identify the country or geographic region but it would be very nice to identify the actual resort.

Yeah, The Maldives looks like a great response for these. Maybe some place of the east African coast? But my first guess would be the Maldives!
