I'm going this summer to South East Asia... I lived in southern China last year and was able to travel from there to quite a few countries and its amazing there.
But you should check out couchsurfing.com and find places to stay for free... and if you decide to come later I'll be back mid August - then youre welcome to stay with me - I live in Gothenburg
