Hello!
I need help in finding out what place is pictured in this photo (city, country). Sadly it is the only photo I have so I\'m sorry for the low resolution. Could anyone help?
Thanks in advance

Thank you for your effort, but no it's definitely not Krakow - I'm from Krakow, so I'd know. Do you have any other idea? Reply to this

Bit of a tough one with such a tiny image - do you remember where you found it?

Also try searches on google image search eg: famous europe squares

Let us know when you have some luck - I'm curious now as well 😊 Reply to this

Is it really a photo? It looks more like a painting to me; no idea how recent is it? So many public squares in Europe were renovated and re-built after WWII making it difficult to make comparisons with current photographs if it is indeed a bit older. Although an art-history student would probably have a field-day with this.

I was thinking Warsaw perhaps, but couldn't find any good corroborating evidence. Reply to this

Very hard to tell from such a small image, but I'm guessing it's eastern European.

It looks like a small town, note how there is no church tower or palace overlooking the square.

Plus the buildings are quite modest, only three stories tall, though the far centre-left triangular building with the arcade could be a town hall.

Also, note how there is no commerce on this square. No signs or no cafe tables under a sunshade means it must be well off the tourist trail. Some small town in the Slovak republic maybe??

Happy travels!
