Arrival Montevideo

After a long journey via Berlin, Frankfurt and Sao Paulo we reached our first destination in South America! At 10:00 am we landed on time in Montevideo after a very scenic approach over the city.
Weather is cloudy and a little cold compared to summer-time central europe but temperatures are still around 15 degrees. Without any further problems we did find a bus to centro and arrived at RedHostel, a very nice place with build inside an old colonial building with a central fireplace meeting room and vintage atmosphere.
We started our exploration of south america with a walk around town on the first day . Montevideo does not seem to be crowded at all and el centro de ciudad can easily be covered on foot.
