Hello from Puerto Lopez

Monday, August 16....Puerto Lopez...the weather is overcast and about 23c....not overly warm (we were hoping for a little more heat as it’s not really beach weather). It’s some sort of provincial holiday here today - we watched the parade go down the dirt road in front of the hotel. We spent the day exploring the town and walking along the beach. The kids went for a swim in the ocean and collected sand dollars. Not sure what our plan is for tomorrow as a couple of the kids are suffering from upset stomachs.
