April 2, 2014 - Balloon Ministry

Last month we were blessed to meet Katy and Gary Rovetto from Payson, Arizona. Katy has a wonderful ministry of making balloons for kids and telling them about Christ. Today a group of us went to Parque Calderon, in El Centro, to hand out balloons. We were joined by Eric and Mary Stock from Oklahoma, Evelyn Benson from California, Kathy Dodd from Canada, and Susan from Arizona.

What a joy this was. We were crowded by not only children, but teens, young adults and old. The balloons were made into hats, flowers, puppies, lions, frogs and swords. Attached to the balloons was a small card that we made up with the following: "El nombre de Dios es Jesús, y Él te ama" (The name of God is Jesus, and He loves you.)
