The plan was to sell Miriam's Car in Cuenca with the help of her Brother Santiago, so that involved a fairly substantial road trip but first we would stop in Babahoyo to pay a visit to Miriam's Mum and Aunt. It was built in 1557, but soon was too small for the faithful of the town. and redone in 1880. It is no longer consecrated and is operated as a museum.
