Well, tomorrow I leave for the states. Feel free to stay tuned while I travel to NJ/NYC, then to IL, then CO for my next job with Mountain Plovers! I leave you with a bunch of pictures.

Attracting moths and other crawly things

This is a sheet lit with a strong light, it's a way to collect insects at night.

The Gusaneros

These are the Ecuadoreans who work in the caterpillar rearing shed. Wilmer, Rafael, and Maria.

The Maquina

The machine, otherwise known as the caterpillar rearing shed. All those plastic bags are filled with caterpillars or pupas or parasites growing and eating. The gusaneros find them in the forest and bring them to the maquina to raise them.
