The dance we didn't do As I may have mentioned, in Ecuador, they celebrate absolutely everything. Friday 13th (oo-er) this year is known as DÃa del Maestro, aka Teachers' Day. Why do they have a Teachers' Day in Ecuador? I don't know, but more to the point, why
don't they have a Teachers' Day in Britain?! It's a great excuse for a fiesta, the kids love it, and the teachers are mad for it - even more so than DÃa de la Mujer, would you believe.
