To Banos....

Hello

So we had planned on heading into the Amazon today but the red/eye bus to Lago Agrio was full. So rather than hang out for three more days in Quito until the next trip we made a realtime decision to head South down the Panamerican highway to a little town in the mountains called Banos...meaning baths in english. We're ready to get out of the city and into the country. So in town there is an active volcano and hot springs amongst many other things to do. The roadtrip is going to be sweet...about 3 hours only and the highway wraps around the top of the Andes so it will be scenic. The city is in the valley but in a place where if the volcano erupts we'll be straight.

Still trying to figure out how to upload pictures...we'll get that sorted out soon.
