Mass Pom Greenhouses

Wow.....Busy, long day.

Let me start by thanking Liliana for a wonderful breakfast!

We visited our major Pom sources today. Thay all report excellent production. Everything we saw was beautiful. On top of that Post Harvest and packing conditions were, as usual, Grade A.

We then had a meeting with a group of our vendors. It was a great way to get together and hear what they think of our relationships. Every farm reported that FBC is a great "partner" and they are enjoying being part of our growth. For someone like myself who deals with these nice people on a daily basis, it was great to get together face to face. For our company, it was great to hear that every farm is enjoying our relationship.

Attached are a few photos. There is a series showing the tinting process for Poms.

Enjoy all....Tomorrow, we start at 6am with a very busy visiting schedule before flying back to Bogota.

Thomas Florist Buying Club

I am the procurement manager for the Florist Buying Club, located in USA. I am visiting our Colombian Office to meet with our partner farms. Juan and Liliana from our Colombian offices will serve as my tour guides. I thought it would be great for our members to "travel with me" while I visit our partner farms in Colombia, South America. I look forward to sharing all the details (including pictures) of our team's travels. I think it will be very enjoyable to our members to not only see where their flowers come from, but maybe hear from the people that work so hard to bring them to harvest. FBC ... full info
