International Choir Fest

Our school choir was invited to sing at an international choir festival in Valparaiso. WOW. They shut down traffic in the main plaza of the city to make room for seating. Amazing experience.

African Choir

During the choir performance in Valparaiso, we met a choir from Nigeria who were singing for the same event.

Teleton!

Getting painted up to go singing in the streets with a group of friends I organized to make money to donate to the Teleton (a HUGE, nation-wide event to make money for disabled people)

Quebradilla Fire

The largest fire of the summer. Wildfires are fairly commonplace around La Ligua because of how dry it gets during the summer, but this one in particular was big--it lasted three and a half days.

Not The New Upholstry!

My host-grandmother taught me to make stuffed squash--EXCELLENT tasting, healthy, and relatively easy to make. (I don't actually remember how to make it off the top of my head, but don't worry--I've got a video)

Can you believe it!? Haha, actually there are several more, but these are the three the supermarkets in La Ligua carry (Kirsa, Olivia and I performed and experiment, and the type farthest to the left is quantitatively the best)

MY Completo

"Completos" are the Chilean version of hotdogs: tomatoes, maynaise, mustard, ketchup, sausages of questionable quality, and and avocado. They're good, but...I can only eat one and I've had enough. (Oh, by the way, the completo in the picture is as long as my forearm--huge even for Chile)

These (though I belive I've recounted their greatness to you before) are the famous "Nuts" being made. These stands are found all over Chile, and they're ALWAYS worth it :D
