Hi , Santiago to Punta Arenas. Smashing group of 14 bikers who had to redirect their flight via Texas because of snow in Madrid. Wonderful countryside, turqoise and vivid blue lakes, glaciers snow covered mountains inc. the Torres del Paine. Saw Guanacoes, Foxes, Condors, skunks, reas, penguins etc. Gravel roads not the best to cycle on and the wind was cruel at times. Enjoyed the local drink of Pisco sour, which gave me a whole new word for getting drunk.Stopped at some great hotels and had a barbecued sheep on the last night get together , not a happy sight for the veggies on our trip, me neither really, they also have mothers. Left everyone with great memories. Next phase, back to Santiago to meet martyn, then the lakes. Watch this space.
