Now 1000 km below Santiago

We are now making good progress down Chile but have struggled with internet connection in some places.

This is a long country some 2500 miles ( 4300km). We have been amazed how weathy it is and with prices about the same as Europe, it appears Chile is ahead of all other countries in S America.

Simon has diverted us to more winerys, we are discovering some real quality and fresh ways of making wine.

Resting up in Puerto Montt for two days before starting the next leg, we are told this is were Chile changes and really goes deserted, we are in a sort of frontier town and the last of civilization so making the most of this place seems wise.
