The Church of San Pedro de Atacama

Created as a parish before 1641. For the construction of this church, one of the most beautiful of the high plateau (altiplano), was used adobe walls, ceiling chañar and Algarrobo (native trees from the area) and cactus, covered with mud and straw, Lama leather was used instead of nails. Inside is a beautiful sacred altar with polychrome figures.
