After Millawapi, we took a bus 2 hours from Conaripe to Pucon, Chile, another small, pretty town in the middle of the mountains on a lake called El Lago Villa Rica but MUCH more touristy. It is just on the other side of the volcano Villa Rica but much closer to it. Bo at the bottom of one of the shutes- the way we got down the icy part was by sliding down shutes on our butts- SO much fun... it took 4-5 hours to hike up and only an hour and a half to go down

to top it off, we saw a Condor as we were coming down the volcano- they are only found in the Andes mountains in Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia- really pretty... and HUGE- this picture does not do them justice in terms of their size
