Ok so we made it into Chile into the middle of the desert for New Year... we found one of the only rooms left in town..and headed to see what was about.

Not much only a town with 2 streets then we bumped into friends from London would you believe. We bumped into them again later and brought in the new year with them which was great to swap stories and see familiar faces. New Years ever is like Guy Fawkes they burn loads of stuffed dolls, not quite sure why!!
Our room we discovered was the last one left as backed on to night club open till 7am. Was ok as we didn´t get in till 3.30pm but once the alcohol induced sleep wore off it was pain pain pain...
