Horse Riding? Why that says Graeme. I don't want to go on a stupid horse. Anyway we get picked up in an old car and taken into the hills at 10am. These horses look pretty damn big when you stand next to them. Hats on and away we go. Suffice to say the weather and scenery was great and we trekked on roads, paths, bridges, through water and best of all through narrow jungle paths. "Snake" shouts our guide, wee bit of panic as we did not know whether to stop horse or continue. Boys see their first wild snake devouring a frog. I miss it as my horse canters away with me om its back. After short stop at caracha (rum) distillery we finish after nearly 3 hours on horse. Votes in terms of enjoyment were Gordon 8, Tricia 9, Graeme 8 and Kevin 9. So everyone happy. Just about to run put of cash ( my arithmetic not up to scratch) no probs, we always planned to use cash withdrawals if required. Two banks later and my card is still not bring accepted doesnt helpthat they are akl in portugese- no option for English- how inconsiderate. Banco Brazillia saves the day and we have some brazillian Reis to spend ( pronounced heiis). After another afternoon of eating and drinking we end up watching the Brazilian cup final live that night. Caratuba 1 - Palmeria 4. Great game. Boys decide to sleep together outside in Hammock it come in after an hour!

This blog site is crap... Photos all look squashed... Or do we really look like that!
