Praia da Pipa is a gem. The beaches around the town are stunning, the town is classy, the restaurants excellent and our hotel - well just lovely! Our balcony is huge and overlooks the beach and the ocean. The moment we arrived we were wondering how we could stay longer. 4 days would never be enough.

When the tide is out the reef gets exposed, leaving lots of rock pools with tiny tropical fish, sea slugs, crabs, urchins and more. When the tide is in, the beach is great for swimming.

The half hour walk around to Dolphin Bay is beautiful. The Bay itself is perfect, surrounded by pink cliffs, with a white sand beach and clear blue water. One morning Andy and Amy spotted a couple of dolphin swimming around the bay.

After endless hours playing on the beach, in the swimming pool and chilling around the hotel, we felt happy we'd got to Pipa, a very special place.

Off to Isla Fernando do Noronha tomorrow. Whoooo hoooo!
