Premiers pas au Bresil: Sao Paulo - First steps in Brazil: Sao Paulo

Et bien nous voici arrives au Bresil, notre dernier pays a visiter cette annee... Ca fait drole mais bon, il nous reste 3 semaines plus ou moins et on compte en profiter!
On est arrives a Sao Paulo, nerveux et la peur au ventre! Pendant ces 10 derniers mois, on nous a raconte les histoires les plus horribles sur cette grande metropole bresilienne. Crime, vols, meurtres etc... Grande ville quoi! Et bien quelle surprise de voir des gens souriants, de la musique dans les rues, des bars pleins a craquer un dimanche soir et des endroits tres jolis. Oui, c´est une grande ville mais bon, la Praca de Se avec la catherale est magnifique. les musees sont senses etre excellents aussi seulement on n´est pas rester assez longtemps pour les visiter.

Well, here we are, in Brazil, final country for us to visit this year... It´s weird to think we have reached our final destination but hey, all good things come to an end. However, we still have more or less 3 weeks and really want to make the most of it.
When we arrived in Sao Paulo we were petrified. Nervous, not happy at all. These last 11 months, we have met various pepole who have told us so many horrible stories about this big metropolis: you´ll get mugged, shot at, killed and if you´re lucky, you´ll be sold drugs... Well, what a surprise to see that SP is just a big city with its share of crime and problems and we had a really good time there. As long as you follow the advice from the guy in your hotel telling you what to do and what not to do, yuo´ll be fine. And we were fine.
It´s a big city but it has lots of nice ares: the Praca de Se with the catherdal is great, the bars were full with people on a Sunday evening and the museums are meant to be excellent but unfortunately, we didn´t have the time to visit them.
