time warps are a funny thing, it seems like just yesterday that we got here, and yet it also seems like an eternity ago that we were enduring the long flights to arrive.

we have wrapped up our last week here, we leave here monday morning, arriving in edmonton tuesday afternoon.

Today, (saturday) was a fun filled day, most of us headed to porto alegre to take in some sights and saw some amazing things, we will add some pictures from today to this blog later tonite.
Alex stayed behind and went to baseball practice with some of the boys from here. Baseball of course is a new game to them, as they are all about soccer usually, but they are loving it so far. Alex said he had a great time with them.
After we got back to the campus they had another water fight, it was a hot day so most everyone found it refreshing.... some buckets of water a little more refreshing than others, as one of them was loaded with ice and water.

This will likely be our last posting from brazil, but will post several pictures that are hilights from our time here.

Thanks to those who prayed for us and kept in touch, we really appreciate it.
We will see you in a few days.
Love Alex & Laura
p.s. we consider this tour an overwhelming victory, with casualities among the crawly species at an all time high, final numbers however, are still coming in.

WOW is all I can say...
Wholly crap man, the two of you are basking in the culture of Brazil and then heading home tomorrow....can we all say, YIPPY for your culture tour and YIPPY for the rest of us that you are both coming home - FINALLY! But as you say, time does have a way of slipping by, these last five weeks definately zipped by....enjoy your last few hours their, relax on the flight home and shed a lot of tears before embarking on your trip home - you are sure to have made a lot more friends and re-visited a lot of friends from years gone by.....it is always emotional when you have to say good bye. See you in two days! HUGS all around!
