Piranha soup for dinner that night
Been in the jungle. There were:-


Went to see a local village, tiny, all subsistence farming, pineapples and mangoes in the back garden.

It rained again, difficult to convey how much water appears here in such a short time, but it's way better than the showers we get, warmer and wetter.

It was also very, very dark which is very, very spooky when you keep hearing strange footsteps where there shouldn't be any. Apparently it was only a tapir, but the jaguars are always there in your imagination, not to mention canibals.....

We dropped in for sugar cane juice and lime
will have to wait as I haven't got them with me.

Dusted and hoovered behind the piano today and found more spiders there than I care to find!
