So the next day, we woke up somewhat early and headed out for the trek. It was freezing, windy, and rainy, and that rain soon turned into snow! our tent- a four person tent we bought in Buenos Aires thinking it would be all 5 of us trekking together and would need the space, so not only were we the only people with a huge tent, but it was AWFUL for the wind in Patagonia and blew around during the night because of its size

when we went up to the summit of Ftiz Roy for sunrise, Matthew accidentally woke us up an hour too early so we sat at the top in the dark absolutely FREEZING waiting for the sun to start rising
