Woke up and checked out of the hotel, we then walked down to the small beach by the river to sunbathe. There is only 1 beach, and it´s a private affair, so we paid our 2 pesos and sat in sun loungers listening to the barman pumping out the beatles and Bob Marley! We had the place to ourselves, and it was really hot. After 2 hours sitting in the same position, I realised we were both incredibly burnt. Fortunately my burns were grouped around my shoulders and chest, exaclty where my ruck sack would be in a matter of hours, which was going to make the trip to Rosario particularly enjoyable.
