Tuesday (8th) was the horse riding day. Marcelo, el polista, picked us up at the hostel and brought as to Cabalonga, about 1h from Córdoba (West). Although one can't compare the material to Swiss standards, everything worked and the horses looked fine and were very nice. We did a 3h trip through the (pre-)Sierras and the landscape was simply beautiful. Afterwards asado (what else) 😊

I learned a lot about politics and daily life in Argentina from Marcelo's father. E.g.: A single person needs about 2500 Pesos per month, a family about 5000 to live more or less quietly. The cook in the close bar-restaurant gets 100 Pesos per working day (works there Thursday-Sunday), an employee who's paid by the government gains up to 7000-8000 (pesos->francs: 1/4). This year are many elections here in Argentina and Marcelo's father is convinced that Christina will stay president.
