Today I went with the americanas to the muesum of the university of Córdoba, founded in the 16th century by Jesuits. The building is very beautiful, but imagine studying for 16 years, then defending your thesis during 3 days in front of everybody more or less important at the university, and passing this exam with a chance of about 5%... Nowadays, the best college here in town (Monserrat) does something similar by chosing only the best students, however, this selection is based only on the children's skills since the college is for free (btw: first girl accepted in 2001). It's very interesting to learn about the history and educational system over here (also we wouldn't call this university very old..).
We enlarged our knowledge even more by visiting the museo provincial de bellas artes, where they show art made by local artists.
Tonight we'll have an asado (google it!) with fernet y cerveza! Algun argentino que esta leyendo mi blog? :-)
