We stumbled on this little gem during one of our monster urban treks

This is a typical main street in BA with about 10 lanes of traffic all going in one direction. At the pedestrian crossings the green (white) man flashes for about 10 seconds less than it takes to walk briskly across the road. It pays to break into a gentle jog about half way across.
