Over the top ways to say Goodbye
Poverty outside the walls and then these on the inside. All very surreal Well our first real day and much adventure, gravestones (WAY over the top), tangos (not us), tailor-made leather jackets, a pink palace (famous for the EVITA on balcony scene) and a computer that won´t accept either of our cameras as an external drive.
The sight of a 30ft gravestone with plaques from "friends" is one i shall not forget.
Then watching people queue to have their photo taken next to Eva Perons tomb was quite surreal, although we did get involved!
Just outside the graveyard (slight understatement) were people begging with their children on their knees.
.......Oh and a drunk being dragged by his collar and knee´d in the head by (Zoes words) "a HOT policeman" who was more interested in finishing his cigarette.
Today we´re changing hotels and moving from Che LuLu to Casa IF, (if only we knew where it was) hopefully they have a more modern computer. If they do we´ll post photo´s of "El Classico" (the River Plate v San Lorenzo match) we´re going to this afternoon.
Oh... Remember South Amercian sun = HOT noses and red skin.
