The bus emptied, they climbed all over each other to be first for a stamp, and the bus picked them up 400 metres down the hill for the ride through town to the Cathedral. You only need the stamps to qualify for a Compostela Certificate, but if that’s not cheapening the Camino, what is? Still, will it mean the same to them? Not likely.
