Torcello, Mazarbo and Burano - Islands of Venice

We left early to avoid the crowds and caught a boat to Torcello(Population 8/Tourists 000’s). It was rather lovely to be away from concrete and cobbled streets to some wild vegetation and marshland. Torcello was founded in the early 7th century - before Venezia - so holds the oldest church of the Venetian islands.
