The A-Bomb Dome, lit on the evening of the Peace Ceremony. A UNESCO world heritage site, it is the only building left standing from the explosion.

On August 6th, 1945, the world's first atomic bomb was detonated over Hiroshima, Japan. 60 years later, I was fortunate enough to attend the Peace Ceremonies, commerating the 60th anniversary of this tragic event.
