The Peron family mausoleum housing Evita was one of the most popular places in Recoleta cemetary, there was a constant crowd around it, and hundreds of flowers left threaded into the lattice-work of the mausoleum front door.
Buenos Aires baby! August 20th 2006 The plane touched down in BA thursday morning, 16 hours after leaving the sniffer dogs and scary policemen with big black guns at Heathrow. So... finished uni, saved some money, and now I'm off on more or less a year's travel. The plan is 4 1/2months in Argentina working on a ranch (as a cowgirl!), back home for christmas, then off to China end of feb for 6months teaching english followed by a little backpacking, ending in Thailand.
I've finished the first half and had an amazing time, and am now back in England catching up with friends and getting organised for China. Little bit scared about this second bit - mainly cos I have to teach (eek!) but also cos once I finally come home I've got to actually find a proper job - booo!... full info
