Frutillar is a must see if you are in the area, it is always hard to believe, that it's a lake in front of my eyes...I keep refering to it as a beach! If you were to go around the whole lake, Frutillar with houses dating back to the early German colonists who settled in the area and boasts several cake shops and enormous gardens along the waterfront, you couldn't help but stay for a while.
