Finding calm in the Chaos
August 14th 2015 After visiting Delhi and Agra, Bundi was a refreshing break away from the chaos, the annoying touts, rickshaw drivers and the mass levels of tourism. Instead we would describe Bundi as a smallish town (for India that is) with a lot of charm and a warm friendliness about it but still retaining that vibrant alive feel that we love about India.

Well, well, well
These wells are so amazing! I love the patterns of the steps leading into them though I imagine now, they are perfect for breeding mosquitoes. The town also sounds so lovely with its colorful, somewhat peaceful alleyways, and of the friendly people--such a contrast to your Delhi experience. I was falling in love with the place until the day of the overflowing sewers, which I imagine could give you a nasty infection had you open cuts or blisters on your feet. I'm afraid I would have just stayed in bed reading. As usual, the food looks massively yummy!
