It's hard to believe Andy's in Two Harbors already. He's on his last map, #2 (#1 covering the trail through Duluth, which he's traversed many times). Tomorrow will be his last re-supply, and it involves a quick hand-off of prepared dried meals, fresh veggies and nuts, and a few other odds and ends--no cushy respite in a hotel room this time. I created this blog to provide details of my 2015 through hike of the Superior Hiking Trail. The trip lasted 26 days including 19 days hiking (265 miles), 4 days on a BWCA canoe trip and 3 days off trail playing tourist in Cook Co. I am attempting another SHT through hike in Sept 2017. Differences this year include a more focused trip without the canoe trip and scheduled days off trail. I will be hiking the entire trail including the Duluth section (310 Miles). ... full info
