The Isan Stillness
June 21st 2015 The train chugs as it arrives at the station, the final stop after traversing the northeastern railway for almost 11 hours overnight. Sweet stillness
How lovely to linger in a languid land! The food looks yummy, the guesthouse gorgeous and how considerate that the tut-tut driver has images of tourist sites. Great idea to have a temple complex showing the stages of a person's life, but this is a pretty bizarre statue--maybe under every nightmare, there's a sweet dream? Looking forward to Laos with you.
