Friday (21/11) Bright and early, my overnight train arrives in Venice a little before 8 am. It really is a spectacular sight. As I wander through the streets of Venice I am perplexed by the lack of cars. There's only people walking in the streets and boats in the many canals, some loading cargo for transport.
