CAIRNS - PORT DOUGLAS - MOSSMAN GORGE - CAPE TRIBULATION - TOWNSVILLE - IN 6 DAYS! Our flight from Perth departed at 1.10pm. We could not get a direct flight to Cairns as they were all booked up so we had to go via Melbourne. You really don’t realize just how big Australia is. October 2005 - we met, October 2006 - we jacked it all in to go travelling for 6 months!!! November 2006 sees the start of our journey.
